Spreading Holiday Cheer
29th Annual Toy and Food Drive
Every year Kansas City’s hottest urban radio station Hot 103Jamz does a toy and food drive to help support families in need during the holiday season.
Donations go to the Harvesters Food Network and Toys for Tots.
This year featured a performance from The Kansas City Boy’s and Girls Choir.
The event was held at the Ward Parkway Shopping Center in Kansas City, MO
On December 2nd, 2022 at 7pm The Kansas City Boy’s Choir and Kansas City Girl’s Choir took center stage and serenaded the audience with classic holiday carols such as “Feliz Navidad”, “Hallelujah”, and other familiar tunes.
A.L. Johnson interviewed Mia Ramsey who is the leader of the KC Boy’s and KC Girl’s Choir. She stated that these types of performances increase the children’s confidence and shows them they can grow to become leaders. You can see the full interview here.
